Concentric Circles of Local©We provide educational opportunities, services and discounted events to our locally-owned, independent Business Members and Affiliate Business Members. (See Benefits of Membership) We encourage all in their work to keep our community great.
Please take a few moments to answer the following questions to determine the best type of membership for you. For more information click on the "Intent" behind each question. (Skip to below this survey if you do not own a business or represent an organization):
• Is your business privately held? (not publicly traded) yes or no (intent)
• Do the business owners who have a controlling interest, totaling greater than 50% of the business ownership, live in Nevada County? yes or no (intent)
• Is your business registered in the state of California, with no corporate or national headquarters outside Nevada County? yes or no (intent)
• Do you have full autonomy to make your own independent decisions regarding your unique business and it’s purchasing, operations and distribution, as well as the name and look of your business? yes or no (intent)
• Do you pay all your own marketing, rent and other business expenses (without assistance from, or payment to, a corporate headquarters)? yes or no (intent)

You may join online as a business or email or phone us and we will be happy to meet with you to personally join you. You may also download the business member packet with an application to mail with your check or charge card.
If you answered no to any questions, we encourage your involvement as a Community Supporter Member or Affiliate Member in Think Local First Nevada County Foothills. You may join online as an individual or email or phone us and we will be happy to meet with you to personally join you. You may also download the individual member packet and send in the application.
